Meet the Team
The YOSS team is made up of friendly, approachable and qualified professionals who share a passion for young people and their contribution to our communities. We're an enthusiastic, innovative bunch and we're here to help.
Each YOSS staff member brings their own unique views, experiences and working style to our team. Collectively we provide 'wrap-around' care to ensure our clients receive great service tailored to their specific needs. Our staff are all members of the professional body of their discipline. This membership ensures competence and insurance cover. We encourage self-care and a fun working atmosphere at YOSS, which is really important in creating a happy team and safe environment.

Rebecca is one of our fabulous nurses in Palmy. She also does our school clinic at Highbury Whanau Centre.
Sam's our friendly youth counsellor. She can help you express your feelings, cope with stress, try different things, and feel okay about being you.
Tuesday is one of our amazing nurses in Palmy.
Dr Dave has been at YOSS since 2005 thanks to his passion for delivering healthcare to young people. He's straight up and tells it like it is, but he'll always go out of his way to help you out.
Haley is our clinical psychologist. Her job is to provide assessment and treatment for mental health issues like anxiety, stress and depression so you can live a life you're proud of.
Tina is our office administrator. She is behind the scenes AND sometimes on the front desk at reception.
Jock is one of our social worker's. He's been working at YOSS since 2018 and
Georgia is a social worker and joined the team in 2023. She also helps Kristy with our youth programmes.
Kristy facilitates our youth programmes and also does individual youth work. Kristy works 20 hours per week (and sometimes help out on reception).
Trissel is the boss at YOSS. She's been working with YOSS since 1996 so she really knows her stuff. If you have any concerns or complaints she's a good person to get in touch with.
Dr Nader works at YOSS one day a week. He's super keen to help with mental health and complex clinical stuff.
Michelle is our super nurse in Levin. She is also the proud doggo Muma of the resident therapy dogs (in training).
Laura is The Face of YOSS! Laura is our concierge, receptionist, meeter and greeter and admin whiz. It's normally Laura who you'll talk to on the phone, via email or facebook.
Carey is our receptionist in Levin. Carey will look after you, make you feel welcome and has an awesome knowledge of local community contacts.
Dr Glenn is our famous (infamous) GP in Levin. An artist, a poet, a youth worker and a Doctor - Glenn really goes the extra mile.
